Collection: Rod Cunliffe

Having studied art and architecture, Rod has always had an interest in form and creating things with beautiful lines and proportions.  Rod enjoys working with wood, metal and ceramics. For the last seven years he has been part of the Colaborationz (sic) event held in Whangarei, working with over 80 artists of differing disciplines to create collaborative artworks.   

Copper is another of his adventures and his 'Bluebell' ceramic and copper piece was awarded first place by the public at the recent Sculpture Northland exhibition.  

His latest piece, 'Symbiosis', a fountain in the shape of a tree made from copper, is an exciting development which he hopes will give pleasure and a sense of tranquility to all.   

His creations can be found in New Zealand, Germany and England.
