Collection: Philippa Wilson

Philippa Wilson is a New Zealand sculptor who has a background as an art educationalist. She holds a DFA honours, Diploma of Teaching and has studied at post graduate level at the University of Otago.

Her work is housed in national and international collections including the University of Otago (large outdoor work) the Dunedin Public Hospital, the Aquatic Centre Queenstown, the Aigantighe Art Gallery , Whanganui Polytechnic and the Otago School of Fine Art.

She has worked collaboratively with the late Hon. Dr. Literature poet Hone Tuwhare, Keneti Muaiava (Lecturer of Dance University of Auckland) Tessa Petersen (Senior Lecturer in Violin and Concert Master of the Dunedin Symphony Orchestra). She lives on the Otago peninsula and has exhibited widely in both solo and group exhibitions.
