Paul John Rhind

Paul graduated with a Bachelor of Design majoring in sculpture from Unitec. He has worked and experimented in many mediums, from sound and light installations, to physical sculpture. He has produced and constructed several sound works for Sculpture on the Gulf, Waiheke Island and has been part of the installation team for many years. He was a finalist in the previous two national Small Sculpture prize exhibitions held at the Waiheke Community Art Gallery.  

His passion for wood and the desire to produce work with texture and colour brings a unique tactile nature to his pieces that reconnect the viewer to the the spirit of the natural world.
