Collection: Oliver Stretton-Pow
Oliver Stretton-Pow graduated from Claremont school of Art in Perth in 1992 and worked in Europe and the Middle East for four years. He held his first solo exhibition in 2002 and completed his MFA at the University of Auckland in 2004. A year later he relocated his studio to Waiheke Island. In 2015 he travelled to the Gold Coast to produce a sculpture for the SWELL sculpture festival.
Stretton-Pow has exhibited inside and out in Sculpture by the Sea, Sydney and Perth, Sculpture in the Gardens, NZ Sculpture OnShore and Sculpt Oneroa (Waiheke Island).
He has produced props for films such as the Hobbit, Thor Ragnaroc and various TV shows. He lives and works on Waiheke teaching part-time and doing private commissions.
