Collection: Marti Wong

Marti Wong has been making metal sculptures for over 25 years. He started on a welding course, turning his practice welds into creations. Marti works in recycled materials as they bring their own character to the work.  

He is inspired by mythology and science fiction and has a strong fascination for the many varied forms of nature.  

Marti has had many successful exhibitions and sculpture events around the North Island and has large works of public art on display in various places.
