Collection: Dell Pryor

Dell is a highly accomplished NZ sculptor. Beginning her career with portraiture, she captured notable characters including Dame Whina Cooper and Sir Robert Muldoon who sat for her. 

She transitioned into life-sized bronze figures, including a collaborative work which celebrates the life of local native bird rescuer, Robert Webb. This bronze is situated at the Tutukaka Marina. 

Dell has begun an empathetic series on endangered animals. She recently enjoyed celebrated Māori activist and artist, Tame Iti, joining a weekend workshop she ran teaching sculptural techniques.  

Dell has also just discovered porcelain which is a new and exciting material to explore.
