Belinda Fabris

Belinda is a sculptural artist using ceramics and clay as her primary mediums. Her pieces look to the familiar to draw attention to what lies deeper in the consciousness of the observer. Belinda celebrates humanity.  

She hopes her work reflects and questions the changes in social, political, environmental and spiritual values in our society. She is inspired by the philosophical teachings of Joseph Campbell regarding myths and legends. The highlight in Belinda's career was winning the 2017 People’s Choice Award for the Waiheke NZ Small Sculpture Awards. A personal highlight is always the great joy and pleasure in seeing children connect with her work.
