Anneke Bester

Anneke spends most of her time in Dubai - from there, she ships her originals for casting to NZ, SA or Portugal where the works are cast for exhibition. Her main market is still in NZ where she started producing bronzes for the art collector. Her work is mainly figurative.   

Anneke's journey started when she was accepted into an art school dedicated to figurative and performing arts at the age of 16. From there she studied Backstage Theatre. Her journey took her to the TV, film and theming industries. Her work took her to different countries but she always considers NZ as home where her first commission for eight life-size bronzes were cast for a mall in Dubai. Anneke casts in bronze, with her life-size pieces being her Opus Magnus.
