Alison Erickson

Alison makes bronze sculptures produced in her studio in North Canterbury. She casts and finishes the bronze herself. She has been exhibiting throughout New Zealand for 23 years. Her work is focused on the the human condition. Her latest work is exploring what it means to be a part of a place. The place where the heart returns to when elsewhere. Where does one fit in a landscape that holds all of your memories but is separate from your ancestral origin?
