What inspires your art practice?

What materials do you work in?
Steel, stone, wood, plastic - 3D modelling
Describe your artwork for NZ Sculpture OnShore 2021
Conceived as a symbolic figurehead, Athena stands on the cliff top, representing life’s journey and hope. Designed to conquer the challenges of the exposed cliff top location. Athena pays homage to semi- mythical women and the site-specific semi- historical attributes, the Navy. The exposed figurehead standing on the cliff top as it would stand proud as the figurehead of
a ship.
