What inspires your art practice?
I am inspired by current events and my artwork is one way of processing them. I am also inspired by the beautiful bay l live in and the nature that surrounds me.

What materials do you work in?
Mixed media with an emphasis on clay.

Describe your artwork for NZ Sculpture OnShore 2021
The concept for this piece came from the COVID lock down and the time it allowed for contemplation and reflection on our lives and our place in this world. We have all been reminded how fleeting life is and to make the most of it.

Where are the public most likely to see your artworks outside of NZSOS?

Where did you study?
I have been an art teacher and pottery tutor for over 20 years.
