Countdown to NZ Sculpture OnShore

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It’s time to mark your diaries, the countdown to the 13th NZ Sculpture OnShore is on and we can’t wait to welcome you!

Planning is well underway for this, the country’s largest sculpture exhibition, which runs for a fortnight, from 30 October
to 14 November, 2021 at O Peretu, Fort Takapuna, Devonport, Auckland.

This year, perhaps more than any other, we’ve hit our stride with gusto - commissioning sculptors and selecting exciting
new works.

Last year’s hiatus reinforced our commitment to bring you the very best in new and established sculptural pieces from
artists all over New Zealand.

The 2018 exhibition raised more than $220,000 for NZ Women’s Refuge. We hope you’re as motived as we are to exceed
that figure this year!

Curated by Sally Lush, more than 100 works by well-known and emerging New Zealand artists from all over New Zealand
will be selected for exhibition.

Many of the sculptors take inspiration from NZ Sculpture OnShore’s site, with its glorious 180-degree views of the
Hauraki Gulf and with Rangitoto as a totem backdrop. From hold-in-your hand intimate, to super-sized pieces, you
can count on an inspiring experience and good day out. So, stay tuned; we will be revealing the artists selected for
exhibition to you later in the year!
